Well, our post is a little late of the official GOTCH DAY...however we were at this time last year preparing to board our very early flight home form Moscow. I remember feeling so overwhelmingly happy as we were leaving as a family. I also remember feeling vary sad as we were leaving Roman's home and everything familar to him.
It seems like only yesterday...but we have all changed so much.
It seems like only yesterday...but we have all changed so much.
This is Roman now at his FOREVER home !
He just celebrated his 3rd Birthday and the highlight for him was blowing his candles out...and everyone clapping & cheering. He speaks amazingly well and is moving up to pre-school next week. He uses diapers only when sleeping (at least most days) and is going to make on hell of a soccer player. Dribbles, kicks and drops kicks the ball!!!! Look out Pele.
His favorite things right now are Magic wands, Harry Potter anything, Volcanos, Little Einsteins, bubbles, and picking anything up outside (ANYTHING!). He also loves having his face carressed (or as he states rubbed) at night, kisses, and cuddling.
Mom and Dad love getting home from work everyday and playing, teaching and learning with and from him. Even the challenge of what to make for dinner that he can eat and keeping him from . Reminds me of 1 more like...Mommy's mini meatloafs with cranberries.
We hardly remember the emotional roller coaster ride or as most call "the process". We are so blessed to have such a wonderful little man as part of our family.
God Bless Everyone!

Amen!!!!! You could't have said it any better. Just incredible how much love one little child can bring into a family.
Congrats, dear Ekat friends. :)

Wow! It's been awhile since I've been on here. He looks amazing. What a difference a year, a whole lotta love, and a sense of belonging can make. Congrats!
