We received a few updated photos from the Baby home and I can say that I didn't think he could be any cuter. He looks healthy and happy and his hair is coming in. Jet black! It was agreat gift for Christmas to see him...bittersweet though as he is growing up and we missed those 3 months.
We also received word back from the Judge as to what additional documents he would like to see prior to setting a court date. We were surprised on how promptly we heard back as it was right after Russian holidays. There were 11 additional documents to get together and the agency had 4 to address. We have approximately 1/2 of the documents already and the other half are in transit. We want to reply as soon as possible as the Judge mentioned he was eager to get our court date in. It would be great to be back before the spring.
His birthday is coming up and Jeff and I intend to send a donation for the Baby Home to throw a little party for him with his friends in his Groupa. We have been working on the room a bit more and have had to extend the theme to include wizards, castles and knights.
Everyday we think of him and thank his caretakers, the ministry and folks at Wide Horizons for caring for him and working to make him part of our family.

I've been checking back to see if you have heard anything! I am so happy that the judge said he is eager! That is certainly a great sign of a close court date! I'm also glad that you were able to get more pictures of your son!

What wonderful news!! Knowing they are atleast looking at your p/w must be comforting as it means you're one step closer to being a family.
Looks like you might have to start packing some really warm clothes!!
