I thought I'd just pop in with a few photos of the little man. It's been an incredible 4 1/2 months since the day we arrived home from Russia. Roman has already grown 1 1/2 inches and has added 4 pounds since his first week home. He's speaking alot! Not many full sentences, but his vocabulary is huge. We've noticed that his memory is probably already better than Daddy's, as he can remember stacks and stack of flash cards. The weird thing is that he usually just needs to see a flash card once and then it's instantly programmed into his little head. His food like's and dislikes have also widened from is early days with us where he would eat mass amounts of just about anything we put in front of him. These days he often snubs his nose at chicken. pasta, beans, etc... in favor of his 2 favorite foods, "cackers" aka Goldfish Crackers, Grahm Crackers, Rice Crackers... and "mennen" aka Watermelon, Honeydew, etc... Sleep continues to be the biggest challenge. It often takes 1 to 1 1/2 hours to get him to finally sleep at night. Enjoy the pics.
Oh my gosh! What a surprise. He has gotten so big. Can you believe they have been home this long and have learned so much? He is just adorable. Melissa
I think it's hilarious that Roman was eating anything and everything when you brought him home and our little Kristina snubs her nose at everything except yogurt, oatmeal, peaches, toast, and Goldfish/potato chips/pretzels... Yeah - got a carb girl! I often wonder what the kids really ate in the grupa when they were together.
The pictures are awesome and hope to talk to you soon.
ADorable..how old is he? My daughters son has been home almost 3 months.. gained 5 1/2 pounds but really hasn't started talking yet, just jabbers he is almost 22 months old
