This will be the last blog update until we land in Ekaterinburg. We are all packed and waiting for the van to pick us up to head to the airport. I don't think we have ever had so much luggage. We hope we have everything...however since I check the paperwork about 50 times ....we better be set there. "R" is back at the the Baby home in the country ...the same one we met him at. This is a good thing as now we get a chance to take pictures of his life before us and we get to speak with the caretakers that cared for him most of his life. It's stinky because we will have to be driven around a lot....but that's okay.
We of course are so excited and for the past couple of days have been thinking about what it would be like to have a little one along as we go through our normal daily routines. Beside...how do we ever go to the bathroom in private...we mostly get totally excited for things to do with "R". Even going grocery shopping sounds fun!!!
Well...it seems that we will be touching down in E-burg around 4am again (Eastern Standard Time 2/15/09 @ 6:20pm): Going straight back to the hotel for an hour or so before heading out to the Baby Home to visit. WE CAN'T WAIT!!!! and no germ-mask needed!!!!
We'll keep in touch as much as we can and please keep us in your thoughts and prayers that everything goes smoothly and we get home as soon as possible.

By now you are "comfortably" relaxing in an airline seat just itching with excitement, right? Hope you get some rest as it's going to be a busy day Monday ~ but oh so memorable!
