Without any delays or postponements we should be landing in Russia one week from today. Things are coming together at home...room is set except for curtains still (errrr!)...documents coming together, travel arrangements set, visas in the mail, even packed up "R's" clothes, toys, and potty already.
OKAY, here is the schedule low-down as it stands for now:
We should arrive February 16th. We get to visit with him EVERYDAY until court on the Friday the 20th. We are so excited to see and play with him again!!!
After court...we wait the standard 10 days. We should be able to visit him often during this time as well. If everything goes as plans we will go the the Baby Home on March 3rd to pick him up!!! This will official become our "Gotcha Day!". Then we run around (with him!!!!) to get his birth certificate and passport; before heading up to Moscow. Once in Moscow we start the process of getting "R's" visa to enter the US. If the visa process goes smoothly we should be able to come home no later than the 8th (Erin's birthday!). Should have been the 7th...but with the holiday there are no flights available. So one extra day in Moscow...maybe we'll go the a play or a show! At least we'll have plenty of time to get the famous shot in front of the Kremlin.
We will try to stay on top of the blog when we have internet access. Please keep us and everyone working so diligently in bringing our hopes and dreams of becoming a family together in yours thoughts and prays still.

Wow -- next Saturday will be here before you know it. Happy packing (especially warm clothes!!) and prepping to be parents!
